Ingredients:
2 cups (100gms.) finely chopped methi leaves packed
1 cup (150gms.) coarse wheat flour
3TBSP. oil +1Tbsp. oil for tempering (peanut oil for authentic gujarati flavour)
2TBSP. sugar (can add upto 3 Tbsp.)
2 tsp. white sesame seeds
¼ tsp. ajwain (carom seeds)
1 tsp. +1/4tsp.salt
1 tsp. red chilli powder
½ tsp. turmeric powder
¼ cup yoghurt (or water as needed to make sticky dough)
For tadka( vaghar):
1 -2 TBSP. oil
1 tsp. mustard seeds
1 tsp. sesame seeds
1 dry red chilli broken into pieces
¼ tsp. hing (asafoetida)
